Kurt Hydraulics’ latest Kurt Tuff hose offering is designed for rugged, high pressure hydraulic applications up to 6500 PSI. What’s unique about this hose product is that it can be bent twice as tight as standard SAE hose for half the bend radius.  It’s ideal for some spiral type applications and installation in system designs requiring minimal space.

Reinforced internally with two braided layers of higher tensile steel wire, Kurt Tuff hose has a very durable, black, oil and abrasion resistant synthetic outer cover. It has 10 times the abrasion resistance compared to standard hose cover, reports Kurt Hydraulics. Lightweight compared to other hose in its pressure range, Kurt Tuff hose withstands temperatures from
-40°F up to 250°F.

Applications for Kurt Tuff hose include spiral hose installations with high pressure ratings. Types of equipment benefiting from Kurt Tuff hose include trucks, construction equipment, demanding injection molding applications and other heavy duty applications. Rated to 1 million impulse cycles, Kurt Tuff hose meets or exceeds requirements of SAE DIN 20023.
